Cinquian’s

Flying, Falling

I wrote this poem to represent how people can feel two very polarizing emotions at once and, how we often want to escape our lives. The girl in this poem wants to be free from the world that she lives in. She wishes to fly and discover her true identify but, her hopes come crashing down when reality comes back upon her.

Entranced Melodies

I wrote this Butterfly Cinquian because it really demonstrates the power that music can hold. The girl brings music to life within her hands and the human connection that music has is really remarkable and can really change a persons mood. So, I wanted to talk about this because music is a huge part of my identity.

Love Is Deep in the Ground

This Cinquian talks about how love is often overlooked and taken for granted. Love is one of the most powerful forces in this world yet people don’t treat love very well. All yearn for love but people don’t put in the effort. Relationships aren’t easy but when both sides try there best to make it successful it can be one of the most beautiful things in life.

Song to Future Me

I often think about my future and what it holds so I thought it would be an interesting idea to write a poem to my future self. The future can be scary and unknown but it also gives a lot of people hope. No matter what the outcome is, ones future belongs fully to themselves. Everyday one has the decision on how to perceive what is happening and how they react to it and, this can shape your future for the better.
